Venue

The modern Westin Hotel (previously the Argent), just south of Market Street, is perfectly suited to the character of the conference and is well located, both in terms of transport links, and nearby attractions, assuring an @media visit will be a comfortable and memorable one.

Getting There

The venue can be found on Third Street, between Market and Mission Street in downtown San Francisco.

The Montgomery St. stop of the BART public transport system is a short walk away. From San Francisco International Airport, the Dublin/Pleasanton BART train will take you straight to this stop in around 30 minutes and cost around $5. Oakland International Airport is also an option for long-distance travellers, and is around a 20 minute BART journey away. Taxis (around $35) and shuttles (around $15) are other options linking the airports to the hotel.

The Local Area

The vibrant SoMa neighborhood is well know for its bars and restaurants, and contains a plethora of attractions, from museums and galleries to the corkin’ Yerba Buena Gardens.
