About Us
Founded in 2004, Vivabit have been producing successful conferences for web professionals since 2005.
The annual @media conference is widely recognised as one of the highlights of the web calendar and is one of the foremost best-practice web design and development events in Europe. Speakers have included Jeffrey Zeldman, Jesse James Garrett, Eric Meyer, Håkon Wium Lie, and Jon Hicks, to name a mere handful. The latest conference, @media 2007, took place in San Francisco in May and London in June, attracting over 800 attendees from over 25 countries.
Our background is in the web community - it's something we have a passion for and do our best to convey through our events. @media conferences are independent, community-focussed, content-rich, sponsor-shy, value for money, and a good combination of inspiration, education, and a rollicking good time.
We also develop, and maintain, the event attendee management application Event Wax, which is used to manage @media, as well as thousands of other events.
